"As a kid, all I ever wanted to do was be a pro drummer."

Jaime Gehly began his music career as a drummer. Having studied at the McNally Smith College of Music (Minneapolis) followed by Master's studies with legendary percusionist, Marv Dahlgren, Jaime wasted no time hitting the scene as a ready and able player behind the kit. Fresh out of music school Jaime landing a record deal with MCA Records as a founding member of Kansas City rock band, Sunset Black. At the age of 22, Jaime held endorsements with Mapex Drums and Sabian Cymbals and was featured in Modern Drummer's "Top 30 Drummer's of 2003."
